The 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe replaces the outgoing Santa Fe Sport. In addition to its full redesign, the new crossover offers more interior space, better engines, and a stand-out style. The new Hyundai Santa Fe comes in seven dynamic trim levels: SE, SEL, SEL Plus, Limited, Limited 2.0T, Ultimate, and Ultimate 2.0T.

Powertrains and Performance

The all-new Hyundai Santa Fe is available with two powertrains. Both engine options come mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC®.

The 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine produces a thrilling 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. 2019 Santa Fe models equipped with front-wheel drive earn up to an EPA-estimated 22 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.* All-wheel drive models are rated for an EPA-estimated 21 mpg in the city and 27 mpg on the highway.*

The Limited 2.0T and Ultimate 2.0T trims come equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. That powertrain produces 235 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. If you opt for front-wheel drive in the Santa Fe, you will enjoy an EPA-estimated 20 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway.* All-wheel drive models earn up to an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.*

Interior Design

All Hyundai Santa Fe models come equipped with a 7-inch touch-screen display. The SEL Plus and above trims feature a 12-speaker Infinity® Premium Audio system that offers a pristine listening experience. Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility comes standard across the board.

The Ultimate and Ultimate 2.0T trims include wireless device charging as a standard feature. You will enjoy an 8-inch touch screen with a built-in navigation system. An integrated memory system allows you to adjust the seat and mirror preferences with the push of a button.


The all-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe comes equipped with an enormous amount of advanced safety features. Standard safety technologies include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian Detection, Lane Keeping Assist, and Driver Attention Warning. A heads-up display comes standard on the Ultimate and Ultimate 2.0T trims.

Safe Exit Assist is an all-new feature that comes standard on all Hyundai Santa Fe models. This innovative system prevents rear passengers from opening the door when traffic is approaching from behind the Santa Fe.
